this past weekend we finally had some time to relax and decided to use our free passes to the denver botanic gardens. despite having lived a couple blocks away for almost a year, we never made it inside until sunday. we were excited to check out the "urban nature" exhibit which brings graffiti-inspired art into the gardens.
some of my favorite murals were by local artist, amanda marie. her stenciled images make me smile. every time i look at the duck in the flying bathtub or the octopi with balloons i giggle.
Love it, love it hard. Oh the squids! You always expose your readers to the greatest art.
