we made some friends during our afternoon in boulder (located about 30 minutes north of denver).
my parents' visit was an excuse to leave the city on a snowy day and admire tulips (photos to come later this week) and scultpures while wrapped in scarves and gloves.
the weekend felt short but fun. we ate, played scrabble, walked, ate, learned about colorado cowgirls, shopped, drove around neighborhoods that may become ours, and ate a little more.
today i am homesick for new york.
i need to buy my ticket for a summer visit east.
Crazy weather, eh? If you haven't taken the folks on the Celestial Seasonings tour and to the Boulder Teahouse yet, those are both fascinating and fun.
Good luck house-hunting!
(Just found your blog recently; can't remember how.)

What a fun weekend! I agree that Mondays come all too quick! It's a wee bit depressing if you ask me! :) But I hope you're having a great Monday!

Boulder is a great city! The Teahouse is fab I agree with Kitt. My friend loves living there and I certainly enjoyed my stay last Fall. My weekend was too fast too = spent with family and friends in one of my favourite places on earth - Pittenweem, the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland!

We should totally retire early! Sun and free time make the world go round, yes? And I would definitely like to sit near a pool! Hmmm... do you think I can retire at age 20?
