I love the hats!! Well done on mastering knitting in the round. How about a small baby jumper now? I have patterns for some that just require you to knit a square for the front and back and slight decreasing on the sleeves. Or you could knit a bag and felt it? There are some great and easy patterns out there.

Fantastic, I wish I could knit...
currently my attempt at a scarf looks a little like a wobbly snake :)

your hats look perfect!

Congratulations! Once you can use circular and double-pointed needles, you can move onto all kinds of fun things, like socks!

I have a cute baby hat pattern that has eyelets around the edge and i-cord through the eyelets. I'll have to check which book it's from if you're interested.

the hats look wonderful. and yes to felted slippers... they are easy (and any mistakes disappear in the felting) and they are warm and cozy and wonderful. i really need to make a pair for e actually.
and now you can knit a sweater in the round too!
