Love those arched doorways. That's cool you can paint. When I was a renter, I had only white walls.

Anastasia

congrats!!! what an amazing building!
the doorways are unique...if you paint it aqua blue and splashes of hot pink you can have a dessert vaction anytime! haha!

cruststation

Oh my goodness, did you find a castle? It's so unique with the moroccan style arches, you really should keep the theme -it'd be fun!! (go wild, it's only temporary :))

Britt-Arnhild

I am coming over for a maroccan meal one day :-)

amisha

hi there dear. have been thinking of you this week. congrats on finding the new apartment! the colors you are thinking of sound beautiful. those arches sort of remind me of my house in florida... we have those curved entrances but without the little point at the top :) talk soon!

I like the wooden floor and the BIG windows. There can be not much enough light in my rooms!! And so great, that there is green around th house. I'm curious, how it will turn out in the end ;)

julie

Glad that you have found somewhere to call home! Sorry I missed you on my trip to Colorado but my friend had so many things planned..... I did have a great trip though and loved Boulder! Only thing that would be missing for me is the sea!

Les

My mother Dees accidentally posted a comment with my name first! But I want to say congrats to you aswell! The place sure looks amazing. I love those arches, very 1001 nights... I love the 1920's aswell, beautiful designs and clothes... Good luck with this great temporary space!!!! xxxxx Les

Tiffany

Oh, I love those doorways! I can definitely see it as a moroccan restaurant, esp. with those gold walls. Just drape the ceilings tent style with rich jewel toned fabric, lanterns hanging here and there, pillows on the floor, low tables. :^)

Can't wait to see what colors you chose for the revamp.

Tiffany

Marjorie

ooh! what a neat apartment building....and the interesting Arabian nights arches are too much fun! :)

Sonya

Oh the period details. Love the space and also the Moroccan restaurant quip!

Julia

Wow, I love it! It's pretty beautiful for just a temporary space. I agree, brown and greenish blue sound pretty and earthy.

ambika

Oh my gosh, I love it. It's those kinds of details that make older buildings so special. And the exterior is equally lovely. Wonderful choice.

Megan

I can't tell you how much I love those doorways!

My house was built in 1929. It's simple, yet has so much charm to it. It's a shame that houses today aren't built with the same character to them.

claudia

Lovely, and so nice to think about places being simpler to live in than NY. Denver. Maybe a possibility. Dunno.

Stephanie

Risa, this is so cool! Those Moorish arches, how unusual!
