life is a little hectic right now. fitting two years of life in four 50 pound bags is a challenge. never before has packing been a mathematical equation for me. first we pack. then we weigh. then we rearrange. then we pack again. over and over. in between we visit with friends for last good-byes. sad and happy. exciting and scary.
i am taking a small break to share some beach photos. we spent a few days in canoa which is a small town in the province of manabi. it is a lovely place with little to do but sit and relax. we played scrabble, ate plates of seafood, took walks along the water, and enjoyed nightly happy hours. a perfect break.
the new couple of weeks will be crazy. the next post will come from new york. new york! yay.
Love the beach photo! I wish you smooth sailing on the travel back to the States.

Having just gone thru a move, I can only say 'wow' at the 50 lb equasions you're having to work out. And what a leap from every day life where you are now to back in the states, especially New York. It's always an adjustment especially when leaving such a lovely place.

I can't imagine how hard this...to pack up 2 years of such an amazing life experience.
I really enjoyed reading your sisters guest blogs, what a wonderful trip to take....I'd love to do something like this with my kiddo when she graduates next year (fingers crossed)
Have a safe trip back to the states!!!

best of luck with your move! i have not been around for quite a while, and was thrilled to read that you will be back in the states (a bittersweet affair, no doubt, with all the goodbyes it entails). and denver - this might end up being the city my husband and i move to (a few things are still up in the air)!
