lucky, lucky me

I have the best friends!  When Dina came she brought a bunch of magazines and a HUGE bag of sour candy. She even knew how to check and make sure the candy was fresh without me explaining it to her.  And she picked out all of my favorite flavors.

Then just in time for her departure (and the homesickness that followed) I received two packages in the mail!  I couldn´t wait until I got home so I stopped in the park and tore them open.  The first is from Jill, one of my oldest and closest friends.  She is also super creative.  She sent some beautiful fabric (looove the purple and orange combo), brilliant shrinky dink zipper pulls, an amazingly adorable elephant purse (i can´t stop staring at it!), a handmade stamp, a Sophie Crumb comic, magazines, etc.  I love it all!!!  I can´t wait to see what she sent Jordan.  Thank you Jill!  I miss you!

 

The second package is from the talented Kristina.  Kristina has a wonderful eye for design and reading her blog makes me want to pack up my stuff and jump on a plane to Denmark.  The items she sent were so well wrapped that it hurt to open them (although I´m very glad I did!) She sent a local design magazine, beautiful ribbons and buttons, two pretty purple votive holders, and a precious change purse with some Danish coins.  Even Danish coins are well designed!  I want to string them and wear them around my neck.  Thank  you Kristina!!!

 

I can´t wait to put all my new treats to use!  Thanks again Jill and Kristina!!!
